While both DTG and DTF produce vibrant, full-color prints, the way they’re applied is completely different.
DTG (Direct-to-Garment) prints directly into the fabric, creating a soft, breathable finish that’s ideal for detailed artwork and retail-quality merch.
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers the design onto film, which is then heat-pressed onto the garment. This creates a slightly thicker feel—great for bold logos and corporate-style graphics.
If you’re after a softer feel and fine detail, DTG is the way to go. If you want bold prints that pop, DTF delivers.
